We are looking for a Java Developer who will join the Windchill PLM project. 

Your role:

  • Improve our current PLM platform based on PTC Windchill
  • Design and develop new apps/solutions based on the requirements of our internal customers
  • Customize/tailor the out-of-the-box system to the needs of the company
  • Integrate the PLM platform into the Digital Platform
  • Implementing APIs / interfaces to make Engineering Design data available for other disciplines within the company
  • Root cause analysis in case of software-related issues
  • Working in an Agile team

Requirements:

  • Degree in the field of IT or comparable technical qualification with corresponding practical experience is a must
  • Most important is a good Java programming knowhow / practical experience in Java programming
  • Basic understanding of mechanical design process and PLM technology
  • Knowhow of a PLM application (ideally Windchill)
  • Knowledge of Java frameworks like Vaadin and Spring Boot
  • Knowledge of different databases, like Oracle, MS SQL Server, MongoDB
  • Knowledge of the Windows operating system
  • Good English knowledge, German language capability not necessary, but helpful
  • Strong customer orientation and good communication skills
  • Solution-oriented and structured way of working
  • Working as part of an international team / active team player
  • Good analytical thinking ability
